About
The Salina Kennel Club (SKC) was established in 1956 and is a member club of the American Kennel Club.
We are an organization run entirely by volunteers, to serve as an information resource for members and the general population. While conducting AKC approved Dog Shows, sanctioned matches and training classes.
SKC promotes the sport of purebred dogs. Members today compete in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Flyball, Therapy Dog Work, Herding, Dock Diving, Lure Coursing, Protection work, Junior Showmanship, and a variety of other dog activities with over 189 different breeds of purebred dogs.
A well-trained dog can be a pleasure, and we are committed to helping you train your, purebred and mixed breed dog, eight weeks and older.
Our membership is open to anyone interested in increasing awareness of dogs, dog breeds, and/or dog events.
