This is a two-part program that focuses on responsible pet ownership for owners and basic manners for dogs. This course will prepare teams for the CGC (Canine Good Citizen), CGCA (Community Canine), and Therapy Dog International evaluations. All dogs that pass the CGC evaluation are eligible to receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club, for AKC registered dogs CGC is now a title.
Community Canine (C.G.C.A) testing is offered separately, from SKC. Unfortunately at this time SKC does not offer the Therapy Dog International (TDI) evaluations, however, our colleagues at the Wichita Dog Training Club do TDI evaluations. Please check back with us for details.
