The Rally class is for dogs who have taken the C.G.C. Adult Obedience class, and passed the C.G.C. test. If you did not take the C.G.C. Adult Obedience Class with the Salina Kennel Club, or have not passed the C.G.C. test, you must demonstrate the skills required of the C.G.C. test to the instructor, as a prerequisite before acceptance into the class. Class is 8 weeks long. 
Rally is a sport in which the dog and handler complete a course that has been designed by the rally judge. The judge tells the handler to begin, and the dog and handler proceed at their own pace through a course of designated stations (10 - 20, depending on the level). Each of these stations has a sign providing instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. Scoring is not as rigorous as traditional obedience.
This class prepares you and your dog, with the skills needed to compete and perform in Rally.
